This year Hot Wheels celebrated 50 years of letting the imaginations of kids across the world run wild. To mark this impressive feat, Mattel partnered with Chevrolet to launch a life sized version of the actual die-cast. Those childhood dreams became reality. 
     When it came to the miniature, we mimicked classic automotive imagery made famous in the 90's and early 2000's. And when the camera rolled on the 2018 Camaro Hot Wheels Edition, we shot with the motion-control Kira rig to create one of the most dynamic pieces of auto photography ever captured. A first in the industry.

Commonwealth McCann’s James Adame worked closely with Hot Wheels to concept a gift box containing the 1968 Hot Wheels Camaro and the 2018 50th HW Camaro 1/64 scale models. The 1968 Camaro is one of the rarest Hot Wheels. This piece was mailed to buyers of this special edition car.
